DRAFT — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This document was drafted to describe accurately what this site does. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a qualified legal adviser. Do not rely on it as a statement of compliance.
The tools are utilities, not advice
Every tool on this site is a calculator, converter, formatter, or lookup. None of them is professional advice, and none should be treated as a substitute for it.
This matters most for these categories:
Finance. Loan, mortgage, interest, ROI, NPV, tax, and margin tools produce arithmetic, not financial advice. They ignore your circumstances, your jurisdiction's tax rules, fees, and every other real-world factor. Speak to a qualified adviser before acting on a number.
Education and grading. GPA, grade, rubric, and attendance tools implement common conventions. Your institution's rules are what count, and they frequently differ. Never report a grade produced here as official.
Security. Password strength, entropy, hash, certificate, JWT, and secret scanning tools give an indication, not an assurance. A password this site calls strong may still be inadequate. A secret scan that finds nothing does not mean nothing is there. Do not treat any result as a security audit.
Networking. DNS, IP, subnet, and header tools report what they observed at one moment from one vantage point. DNS in particular is cached, and what our server sees may differ from what you or your users see.
Health, legal, and safety. We publish no tool intended for these purposes. If you use one for such a decision anyway, that is entirely at your own risk.
Accuracy
We try to make the tools correct, and they are covered by an extensive automated test suite. We do not warrant that any result is accurate, complete, or fit for your purpose. Verify anything that matters.
Third-party results
Tools that query external services report what those services returned. We do not control, verify, or endorse that content.
No relationship
Using these tools creates no professional relationship of any kind between you and AmigoToolz.
Your responsibility
You decide whether a result is fit to rely on. Losses arising from relying on a tool's output are yours, to the extent the law allows.
